Focus on clean tech brings companies together

A company matchmaking event will be held in Örnsköldsvik on February 25 for companies working in the clean tech industry. Companies from Skellefteå, Umeå, Vasa and Örnsköldsvik will participate in the event aimed at establishing new business contacts.

Companies which gather on the Thursday at the Kronan City Hall, have submitted requests to other companies they wish to initiate or develop business contacts with. A number of individually matched
business meetings for companies will hopefully lead in the long run to new business.

“Our goal is to create the conditions for clean tech companies to continue to grow. We hope that activities like company matchmaking can help generate new forms of cooperation and business for companies in Örnsköldsvik, Vasa and Västerbotten,” said Lisa Edin, project coordinator for Cleantech Kvarken in Örnsköldsvik. “We need to see ourselves as a part of a larger region and capitalize on the existing clusters and collaboration that already exists in Västerbotten and Österbottens,” Edin concluded.

Company Matchmaking is one of the many activities which will be conducted through the Cleantech Kvarken and Cleaner Growth projects.
